Frequently asked questions
Is Boucle the carrier?
No. Boucle is a platform that connects shippers and carriers. The carrier makes the delivery. Boucle handles matching, payment, tracking and proof of delivery.
What if a carrier is not insured?
They cannot accept a delivery. Proof of insurance is checked before the first trip and at every renewal.
What do you do with my GPS location?
GPS is used only during an active delivery, from pickup to drop-off. No location is collected outside those moments, in line with Quebec's Law 25.
What can I ship?
Parcels, boxes, light pallets and furniture that fit in a pickup or a van. Hazardous goods, animals and illegal items are excluded.
Do you accept heavy trucks?
Not for now. Boucle focuses on pickups, vans and Sprinter-class cargo vans.
When do I get paid?
Payment is held during the delivery, then released to the carrier once proof of delivery is confirmed.
How do claims work?
You report the problem in the app with photos. We compare it with the pickup and delivery proof, then answer you in writing.
